Faulty parts covered under warranty and approved for return will be replaced; no refunds will be given. Requests need to be sent in writing via email to email@example.com. Warranty period, if applicable, is by supplier or manufacturer and begins on DATE OF PURCHASE. Idaho Stove Works, LLC does not warranty any goods including, but not limited to; wood, gas or pellet appliances, parts, accessories, or maintenance items.
Customer has 3 days (72) hours to cancel a purchase before an appliance is ordered. Once an appliance is ordered & shipped, if customer cancels the order, customer will be subject to a 75% restocking fee of deposit amount. The remaining 25% of the deposit will be refunded by same method as deposit and can take up to 30 days to process.
Idaho Stove Works, LLC is both a retail and mobile service company that focuses on sales, service, repair, cleaning & inspections, and installation of solid fuel burning appliances and certain gas/propane burning appliances. These appliances include: wood, gas or pellet stoves; wood, gas or pellet inserts; wood & gas fireplaces; chimneys; and respective pipe systems.
Licensing: Idaho Stove Works, LLC is a fully licensed company. We are licensed by the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety and hold HVC Spec Journeyman Hearth and HVC Spec Journeyman Contractors license; EPA Section 608 Certified; and completed national industry training & testing to earn the National Fireplace Institute Master of Hearth Technician certificate.
Insurance/Bonding: For the protection of our customers and ourselves, Idaho Stove Works maintains at all times liability insurance and carries a surety bond through the State of Idaho. In addition, we carry a secondary bond with the City of Pocatello. Liability does not cover: homeowner negligence; improper burning; accident/abuse; acts of God, i.e. weather (wind, hail, snow, etc.) earthquakes, etc.; defective building materials; unseen internal defectives within a chimney or pipe system; or faulty workmanship by others.
Guarantee: Idaho Stove Works, LLC does not guarantee that all appliances can be repaired. Age, condition, improper usage and many other factors may indicate end of life of a unit and require an appliance and/or fireplace, vent and/or chimney to be deemed unsafe for operation. Customer will be required to sign a release if we conclude that appliance and/or fireplace is in fact deemed unsafe.
Inspection Reports: Idaho Stove Works, LLC does not warranty or guarantee the condition of existing appliances and/or fireplace and accompanying venting system. Our inspections state whether or not appliance/fireplace meets: NFPA 211 Standards for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents, & Solid Fuel-Burning Appliance code; International Residential, International Fuel Gas, & International Mechanical Code; Idaho Division of Building Safety requirements; and individual manufacturer specifications. Since conditions of use and hidden construction defects are beyond the control of Idaho Stove Works, LLC, we make no warranty of the safety or function of any appliance and none is to be implied.
Chimney Cleanings: Chimney cleanings are basic cleanings and do not include specialized inspections. A cleaning does not imply structurally intact chimney or pipe systems.
Pricing: Idaho Stove Works, LLC does not use flat rate pricing for work that we do not know the true scope of. The amount of work required to properly clean and/or service your fireplace, stove, or chimney can be affected by many variables which we cannot know until we arrive.
Payment Terms/Default: Payment is due at the time of service unless previously arranged. Forms of payment accepted are cash and check. Credit and/or debit cards are accepted in the field (in home service) with a 3.5% convenience fee. If a check payment is not honored for any reason (including but not limited to N.S.F., stop payment order, or the like) customer will be subject to a $39 return fee and will be invoiced. Invoice accounts are due and payable in full within 15 (fifteen) days of the date of invoice. Accounts not paid within 15 days of the date of invoice shall incur a service charge of $24.95 and thereafter the account shall bear interest at two-and-one half percent (2.5%) per month. In the event of default, Idaho Stove Works, LLC shall be entitled to recover all costs reasonably incurred including but not limited to reasonable costs and attorneys’ fees and costs of collection of any judgment obtained.
